If you receive a popup asking you to enter your Emergency.
Tap Wi-Fi Calling, and then tap the switch to turn the feature on. Tap More options (the three vertical dots), and then tap Settings. I guarantee you they will dance around it or use some lame excuse like it's an Iphone problem. For this feature to work, your phone must be connected to a Wi-Fi network and have an active SIM card inserted. Just watch how they answer the question above, if they even respond to it at all. The question I asked above has been a constant problem that people have complained about for a while now and they never do anything about it. I have been with AT&T for over 22 years and their cell service is great, but their customer service is the worst, and their in store service is just as bad. When are they going to fix this huge problem that they constantly seem to ignore and not give a real answer too?
You may have inadvertently locked your keypad. If the keys on your cell phone don’t work, look for a symbol on your display screen that looks like a lock. When is AT&T going to fix the problem of having a limit of only being able to send a group text to 10 recipients? No other carrier has a limit on the amount of recipients that can be sent a group text except AT&T. I have the S4 myself so I can certainly empathize with your situation and if this happened to my S4 I would do the same things that you did to try and fix it and if it didn’t work then I would call up my wireless service provider and if necessary I would contact Samsung directly to look into my repair and replacement options. If your display is not working, it may be due to extreme temperatures.
